Hannah's Stretching Routine

Another adorable thing Hannah does is her stretching routine whenever she's put on the changing table.  It lasts several minutes and usually involves sounds like horse "nay" but in a pitch no horse could imitate.

By the way, she wasn't done.  The routine lasted another few mintues and ended with her signature move...passing gas :)

The Many Faces of Hannah

I could sit and stare at her all day!  I'm fascinated by every small body part...her tiny biceps, long fingers, (receding) red/blond/light brown hair, peach fuzz on her shoulders, the perfectly cut hair line on her neck, her beautiful profile...the list could go on.  I'm constantly amused by her many faces.  She'll make eye contact, but we're still waiting on that first real smile.  I frequently prop up my knees and amuse myself with her expressions.  I manage to snap a few pictures, too!  The first is my favorite of her faces.  I laugh everytime she makes it.

Hannah's "firsts"

What a month it's been!  I've been recovering from a c-section and little Hannah has been getting used to life on this side of the womb.  She had a rough start with some feeding issues but is now thriving and alert.  At her one month pediatrician appointment, she weighed 8 lbs. 13ozs and measured 21 1/4  inches.  She's gained almost one pound and one inch in one month.  Unfortunately, Hannah has her first cold.  We also made it through our first night with Daniel away from home.  Now for more "firsts" in pictures...
